Cracks Are Everywhere!

I'm not talking about drugs so chill :)

I've been seeing a lot of cracks recently and think it's just too funny to pass up.

The first crack isn't that funny really, it's quite sad really. I was running late for class a few weeks ago, so I parked in the extremely expensive parking garage to run to class. The pillars are so close to where you're supposed to park, but usually I'm able to manuever quite well. I was probably not paying enough attention, so while I backed up, my passenger side mirror got hit and it was bent all the way back. I was so freaked out that I ruined the whole contraption, like the mechanical moving part, but I checked and the only think f-ed up was the mirror. Thank God! That saved me at least $100 right there. My honie and I ordered a mirror so we can just crack the rest of the mirror off, then replace it. It's so sad :( I love my Pathfinder, since it's the first car that's ALL MINE :P

Now this kind of crack is funny :D I did take a picture, but I don't want to be mean, so I won't post it. But it's okay to describe right?

EDIT: Ok I'm posting the picture now.... it's not really that bad I think. I like her umbrella though, my honie bought me one just like that, but yellow.



I have no idea how or why, but for the past two weeks I've been seeing a lot of cracks. Not because I'm looking for them, but they seem to present themselves in my vicinity. Don't be childish now, I'm not saying that people are randomly mooning me or anything. It just totally confounds me how a person can have such a large portion of their booty showing without feeling at least a BREEZE!

A couple of weeks ago, one customer in my restaurant was sitting down. My friend came laughing over to me and told me to look at the customer, just look, but didn't tell me why. I walked by and looked at the customer (whose back was to me) and literally a good 2 inches of crack was showing! I looked away quickly, but just that moment of glancing, I could see too much for comfort. My friend and I started laughing later, joking that we could walk by and drop some chopsticks down there :D I'm not trying to be mean, it was just funny. How can someone not feel the air on their booty, especially when waitstaff are rushing by?

Today, my honie & I were walking to the parking lot, when we saw this girl with a really cute paper umbrella, the kind you see in that geisha movie. It was really pretty, and it reminded me of the umbrella my honie got me. Anyways, since the girls back was to us and she was walking in front of us, we obviously could see anything on her backside. Her bagpack was causing her skirt to ride up and again, crack could be seen. She then adjusted it and kept walking.... not 10 seconds later, it rode up again. I thought it was funny so I took a picture, but it would be too mean to show.

Anyways, I think it's not as bad as the crotch flashing going on in Hollywood. I mean, this can happen to anyone, so I don't mean to be cruel about it... it was just something I found funny.... that's all.

I tried out putting white liner on my waterline, supposedly it's supposed to brighten the eyes? What do y'all think, does it look okay or should I return it?

FOTD 10.28.07 & New Items

I've been wearing my McQueen shadows a lot. I like them by themselves, instead of trying to put all three color together. In my last video, I was wearing Haunting e/s over Other Worldly paint pot. I tried out my Nile e/s over Elektro Sky paint pot. I find that Nile is a lot more chalky than Haunting. Nile, in consistency, seems similar to Bang on Blue. If you can tell in the pictures I took, the shadow doesn't look as opaque as when I wore the Haunting e/s. Mind you, this was after a five hour shift at the restaurant. However, my eye shadow looked the same as it did when I applied it in a rush this morning. Oh well.

Another thing too is that for some reason, I broke out all over my nose. Not the extremely noticeable ones, but the ouchie, under the skin ones. I have no idea why that happened. I'm hoping it's from stress because the only new product I've been using on my face is MAC Prep + Prime Skin... it works great and helps the application of foundation. I'm seriously hoping it isn't from that, but for now I've put the primer away until my skin clears up.

Yesterday I went to the MAC store to hook some of my friends up with some makeup. I told them, it's not my fault if you get a makeup addiction!.... Well it kind of is... heheheh ;P My honie will be mad if his lil sister gets into makeup the way I am.... at least there will be more in the family like that :D Anyways, they bought eyeshadows, while I got the following....

I got a brush palette and three new blushes. Dollymix is one I've been lemming. Sunbasque is what my future-sister-in-law got (Phuong, the one in my party pictures) and it was used on me on my last makeover so I decided to get one as well. Then my friend Vega wanted Prism Blush because the MUA recommended it. It looks boring in the pan, but on her.... OMGOSH! Her cheekbones POPPED! It was delish.... so I got it :) The full-size 168 is uber soft, about 100% softer than the SE one I have... and the 227 is one I've wanted, it looks great for highlighting.


I bought the three pigments from the Antiquitease Color Collection. I don't have many pigments, but have tons of shadows so I think I'll be getting more piggies soon. I didn't buy one of the palettes because I don't find any of the colors truly unique.... I'm not sure if I want to drop $36 on colors that I can find a dupe of later. I just like the packaging :) I may end up waiting for the palettes to go on sale at a CCO, which is where I bought my Holiday '06 Intense Eyes Palette. I'd rather save my money for the pigments, sparkle eye liners, and cream shadows (I want them all!). My Graphblack Technakohl Liner ran out yesterday... may it rest in peace :) So I bought Smolder Eye Kohl (opthamologist approved for the waterline) to try it out and if I don't like it, I'll go back to my Graphblack. I also got Fascinating because I don't have a white liner.... so I can finally record my Mod Doll video now :D What else, oh Uppity Fluidline. This was just a whim purchase. Do I really need a gold fluidline? Will I ever wear it? We'll just have to see, but I do see it being a beautiful base :)

On another note, I've become addicted to reading Dawn Yang's blog. I think she's gorgeous! And her lifestyle seems like it's a ton of fun! I have never known about her or Arissa until a reader commented about Arissa in my last post on Dawn Yang.

I looked at Arissa Friendster and I think she's also gorgeous! OMG and I love her style, she seems like she is pretty rich with all the high-end items she has... I'm not saying that's a bad thing, it seems like a nice life to live! Of course that will probably always be a fantasy of mine, to be rich without a worry in the world. I can dream right? But reality isn't bad either....

Anywhoodle, the reason I bring her up is because the commenter who gave me her link said that Dawn was trying to look like Arissa. After seeing Arissa's pictures, (only having seen Dawn's pictures first before finding about Arissa), I must say they do seem similar, but I don't think Dawn is trying to copy Arissa. I don't know, I prolly don't have enough info... but it doesn't really matter to me. I like both of their blogs & think they both are gorgeous. What I especially LOVE about them both is how the chunk up the deuces :) LOL of course I would love that! They seem to have amazing and fun lives, and I think it's fun how they share it with others.... but that's me.

So in my last post I said I was going out with one of my BFFs. We went out to Korea Town to check out this super cute gift shop filled with Hello Kitty, Mashi Muru (sp?), Pucca, and whatnot.... I got a nice smelling air freshner for my car, smells like strawberries (not that strong and overbearing smell, but yummy smell) and it's shaped like HK :D I also got an HK doll to hang from my rearview mirror, HK bill fold, and HK antennae ball thingie.... Yeah I love HK lol..

There was a really fun photo machine to take sticker pictures... so we had at it. It was super fun! I have no clue why I came out so ghostly pale in the pictures... weird!

I get along with camera-whores quite well :D


My friend (the guy) is going through a hard time right now, so his fave song right now is "Pimp Slap Dat Hoe" by Soulja Boy.... LOL I wonder why..... So that was the theme of the next few pics.

This was our first time trying out Korean food at a local Korean restaurant, Korea House. All in all, I wasn't that impressed. I once read a book in 5th grade called If It Hadn't Been For Yoon Jun by Marie G. Lee and in it she talked about kimchi. I expected it to be sour and spicy, but the kimchi at this restaurant smelled like mangos (?????) and tasted like nothing. LOL but the beef was nice and tender... the hot pot thing was just odd.... and the dumplings weren't half bad!

So that was my night (last Thursday actually). I really needed some time to just chill and forget about my worries. It helped :)

I have two exams this week, a business law test on Wednsday, and a finance exam on Thursday... so I might be MIA until afterwards. I'll try to record a tutorial soon, but I've added an update box on the left side of my page to show y'all what I plan on doing... not in that order. It's more of a reminder for me :)

Brush Set vs. Full-Size Brushes & Random Cam-Whore Moments :D

Kind of late but I did a review of the brush sets (not Holiday because I don't have them, so I improvised) against full-size brushes. I've gotten a lot of questions on whether or not it's a good idea to buy brush sets, and I think it is. You get 5 or so brushes for the price of one 187 brush plus a cute clutch or carrying case. The brushes give you a good idea on which full-size brushes you may want. So here's my review, though somewhat rushed.... it's in two parts so if you are patient enough, watch both please :D I really did try to time myself, but it's hard to cram that much into 10 mintues!
